众所周知，德国的工业设计、工业制造全球领先。2012年德国推出工业4.0，我们国家积极创导“一带一路”建设，设立粤港澳大湾区，正在实施2025中国制造战略计划。
As we all know, Germany's industrial design and industrial manufacturing lead the world. In 2012, Germany launched the industrial 4.0, our country actively create "One Belt and One Road’s" construction, the establishment of Guandong-Hong Kong - Macao Great Bay area, and is implementing the 2025 China manufacturing strategy plan.
在这样的大背景下，设计与艺术学院围绕应用型、复合型人才培养目标。积极对标引进优异的教育理念与经典的教学案例，促进实现“厚基础、宽口径”的人才输出。
Under such a background, our school sets a goal to develop application-oriented talent and inter-disciplinary talent. We continuously learn excellent educational notions and classic teaching cases to promote the output of talents with "thick foundation and wide caliber" talent.

宗明明院长师从柳冠中教授，深受德国著名学者雷曼教授的影响。对德国工业设计思想有很深理解，结合我国的工业设计特点，创设中德工业设计与产业服务研究院。在德国DISCIMUS教育服务机构HUXI 先生的大力支持下，促成了中德教育合作的典范。
Dean ZongMingming, She ever learned from Professor Liu Guanzhong, deeply influenced by the famous German scholar Professor Lehman. She has a deep understanding of German industrial design ideas. Combining the characteristics of Chinese industrial design and German industrial design ideas. With the strong support of Mr.Huxi, the German Discimus educational service, Sino-Germany Institute of Industrial Design and Service becomes a model educational cooperation between China and Germany.

The establishment of Sino- Germany Institute of Industrial Design and Service requires a team to carry out teaching and research. 演讲内容：从造物转为谋事的系统观念和思维方式

柳冠中教授被誉为“中国工业设计之父” ，最著名的工业设计学术带头人。清华大学美术学院责任教授、博士生导师，担任多所知名大学的客座教授。入选清华大学首批文科资深教授。清华首批18位文科资深教授，校内文科最高荣誉等同院士。柳教授曾荣获多种奖项和荣誉，
Professor Liu Guanzhong is known as "the father of China's industrial design" and is the most famous academic leader in industrial design. He is a visiting professor and professor of Academy of Fine Arts at Tsinghua University. The first group of senior liberal arts professors at Tsinghua University was selected. The first 18 senior liberal arts professors in Tsinghua University are academicians with the highest honor in liberal arts. Professor Liu has been awarded a variety of awards and honors.
柳冠中教授从人类最需要的衣、食、住、行着手，阐述工业设计最本质的是人的需求，现在的工业设计界往往去本求虚，偏离了工业设计的原始初衷。他表示，中国的工业设计需要中国问题需要中国方案，需要中国的文化表达。设计的观念和评价体系就如同人生的境界。用一个中国汉字“品”字很好的诠释。“品”字三个口，第一口满足饥渴，饥不择食（第一重境界）；第二口炫耀地位、科持表现、更高的物质享受（第二重境界）；第三口：节制、适可而止、品鉴生存、可持续（第三重）。符合中国传统文化的价值理念，追求事物的本真。
Professor Liu Guanzhong focuses on the clothing, food, shelter and transportation, and expounds that the most essential part of industrial design is the human needs. But now, the industrial design field deviates from the original intention. China's industrial design needs China's problems, he said, and it needs Chinese solutions and Chinese cultural expressions. The concept and evaluation system of design is like the realm of life. He give us a good interpretation of the word " 品" in a Chinese character. "品" character is formed of three mouth, the first bite is to meet physical hunger and thirst, no fault with the cookery (the first level of state); the second is to show off status, pursuit of enjoyment (the second level); the third: Moderation, tasting and sustainability. (third state). In line with the value of traditional Chinese culture, the pursuit of the truth of things.

With the joint efforts of the School of design and art and the Germany DISCIMUS education service, Sino-Germany Institute of Industrial Design and Service, the dean of China and Germany, was signed by President Zong and Mr. HUXI.
为了更好促进中德教育的合作，德国DISCIMUS教育机构在我们学院设立了分支服务机构。本次中德合作，也是我校与德国的一次大胆的尝试。看看中西方文化的差异性能碰撞出怎样的火花。同时也是也是我校国际化的一个良好开端，能给我校学子提供更多机会，更多元化的设计思路，以及更宽广的舞台。
中德双方都相当重视，宗院长和HUXI先生为我们揭牌。
In order to better promote Sino German education cooperation, the German DISCIMUS education institution has set up a branch service in our college. This Sino German cooperation is also a bold attempt of our school and Germany. Look at the difference between Chinese culture and Western culture. At the same time, it is also a good beginning of our school's internationalization. It can provide more opportunities for students in our school, more meta - design ideas, and a wider stage.

Professor Katrin Hinz, Dean of the school of design and culture of the University of engineering and economics, Berlin, and Professor Birgit Weller of the University of engineering and economics, Berlin, issued a letter of appointment for this purpose.
此后，宗院长就德国工业思想在中国的传播、实践与重构为主题，展开了声情并茂的演讲。引发学子们的无限哲思与对设计的更多考量。期间，Katrin Hinz教授和Birgit Weller教授作为演讲嘉宾，穿插了很多生动有趣的内容，向同学们介绍了包罗万象的通用设计思维，这无疑也是非常宝贵的思想传播。
Since then, President Zong has launched a speech with a sound voice on the spread, practice and reconstruction of German industrial thought in China.
